Booking Conditions
  1. DEPOSITS.
A 25% non returnable deposit per cottage per week is required within 7 days of provisional booking. We advise that guests take out holiday insurance at time of booking.

  2. GOOD HOUSEKEEPING DEPOSIT.
Regrettably, we have had to introduce this deposit as recent visitors to the cottage have caused damage and left the property untidy and in an unclean state which has required addition cleaning and repair work.  We will now require visitors to pay a £40 refundable good housekeeping deposit which will be returned provided the property is undamaged and left in the same state of cleanliness as it was on arrival.   Any damage or additional cleaning that is required following a visit will be deducted from this deposit and the balance (where appropriate) returned to the visitor making the booking.

  3. BALANCES.
The balance is due one full month before the arrival date.

  4. CANCELLATIONS.
In the event of a cancellation we cannot in any circumstances return the deposit but if we manage to relet the cottage we will return any balance already paid. We strongly advise that guests take out holiday insurance.

  5. ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE TIMES.
Rental periods begin 4pm Friday and end 10am Friday of departure. Please ensure that you vacate the cottage by 10am on the agreed day of departure so that sufficient time is available for cleaning and changing of bedding.

  6. BEDLINEN & TRAVEL COT.
Bed linen travel cot and towels are provided free of charge.

  7. CLEANING.
Cleaning materials are provided so that guests can leave the cottage as clean as they find it. (We reserve the right to charge guests for extra cleaning should the cottage require it on departure).

  8. EXTRAS
Heating and cooking is by electric fires and appliances. Payment is made based on meter readings taken at the start and finish of the rental period. Please leave your payment prior to departure.

  9. PETS
Pets are permitted by arrangement and on the understanding that they do not get onto furniture, are not left unattended in the cottage at any time and are wormed and treated for fleas before arrival. 2 large plastic dog beds are available by prior arrangement to reduce your luggage. Dog bowls, towels and leads are provided in the utility room. Whilst we do not make any additional charge for pets, we do ask visitors to make a donation of £5.00 per animal to Argyll Animal Aid. AAA is the local charity that provides help and shelter for animals in need. Their website can be found at http:www.smallpaws.co.uk.
